For a Challenges blog, I have been very bad at recording any challenges this year! But, the turkey is digested, the chocs are finished,so its time to back to challenging myself in 2015. The weekly photo challenge is “shadowed”, this is a photo I took in Edinburgh Castle, the light streamed through the windows casting some lovely colours on the walls while putting the wood panels into shadow.
The weekly photo challenge is Yellow. This is a processed photograph of a painting I did a few months back. The original is yellows and greens, but I really liked this effect.
This is my first post for the Weekly Photo Challenge from the Daily Post. The theme is “Twinkle”
Not taken this year, but I was really pleased to get the movement of the snow through the solitary street light in my village. I like snow, even though we can still get cut off for days here.
Hope that I have captured the movement in the moment 🙂
I walk a lot, enjoying the solitude of the moors in all seasons. Normally, the nearest I come to “civilisation” is a keepers hut or a weather eroded wall. This day I took a slightly different route and came across this bench under the trees. No discernible path led to or from it, but I enjoyed a welcome break, surveying the moors. I would love to know who put it there, but I suspect that, whoever did was also perfectly happy in their solitude
